DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY
INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN BICYCLING ASSOCIATION (IMBA)

Thousands of trail advocates generously support IMBA and its mission to protect, create and
enhance wonderful places to recreate. We’d like to thank them more and more, learn more
about them and their interests, and keep them informed about how their generosity is advancing

IMBA is seeking a contractor to work with a deeply experienced and dynamic Development
team to connect with IMBA supporters. The successful candidate will become associated with
an incredible national movement to advance trails for more people.
Scope of Work for Independent Contractor
● Become fluent in IMBA’s work, results and aspirations
● Learn a portfolio of IMBA supporters
● Implement outreach to these supporters to build relations
● Document conversations
● Follow through to provide them information about the mission and goals, and outline other actions to serve them
● 5 hours/week
Required Experience and Skills
● 3-5 years develop, individual giving fundraising (mid-level or higher,) donor stewardship
● CRM based portfolio management
● Interpersonal donor relationship skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Internal reporting skills
● Knowledge of outdoor recreation, trail and mountain biking knowledge preferred
Term
Immediate through January 2027, with possibility of extension
Compensation
Billable at $30-$40/hour; 1099 status.
