Palisade Basecamp RV Resort
The Maintenance and Groundskeeping Guest Services staff will lead the resort to the highest standards possible by keeping the grounds clean and manicured. An ideal candidate will be passionate about local outdoor recreation and the hospitality industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Mow, edge and maintain lawns, trees and shrubs
- Prevent, spray and eliminate weeds
- Clean pool and make sure chemical levels are in working order
- Make sure bathrooms are stocked and clean, spot clean when needed as a back-up to housekeeping
- Empty trash throughout the RV resort
- Clean and rake RV/tent sites and ensure site is level with no ruts
- Clean grills, firepits and picnic tables
- Assist with irrigation troubleshooting and fixes
- Assist with electrical pedestal fixes as requested
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous maintenance and groundskeeping experience preferred
- Experience operating equipment such as tractors, weed eaters, lawn mowers, golf carts, etc.
- Ideal candidate is passionate about local outdoor recreation and the hospitality industry
- Energetic, creative, entrepreneurial, and detail oriented
- Passion for groundskeeping and great customer service
- Ability to work independently and get it done
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Valid Driver’s license
